Can This Help Improve Your Golf Game

This post is for the Golf Enthusiast…

We’re here to talk about your favorite subject… GOLF

Now that I’ve got you attention, I’d like to share a very important tip with you…

Change the way you think about your golf game

Here’s what I mean

Because of its very nature, golf demands understanding on the part of the player. Golf is unlike most games in that it is played with a stationary ball. In practically every other game, the ball is put into motion, usually with intentional deception. Consider, for example, the serve in tennis, the pitch in baseball, or the pass in football. In these sports, if the player does not have the intuition to sense the play or the instinctive ability to get into position for the play, he soon finds himself sitting on the sidelines.

There is no deceptive delivery in golf, and there is no opposing player to interfere with the play. The ball is on the ground, waiting for the player to act, and the player can take as long as he or she wants (within reason), use whatever club he or she desires, and follow any method or style he or she chooses.

So, as you sit there nodding your head in agreement, I know your next question is “why shouldn’t golf be easy?”

As it turns out, this free choice of time, equipment, and style is the very thing that proves so often to be the undoing of the golfer. Uncertain of the club selected, and perhaps a bit more uncertain of the manner in which he is going to use it, the player has a tendency to become deliberate and doubtful.

In short, average golfers like you and I can develop mental blocks and build up physical tension which destroys our confidence and our ability to execute the shot we are standing over.

Oh, and by the way, if you’re looking to improve your golf game, and learn how to easily remove any mental blocks that might pop up, we’ve got what you need and more right here…. http://trappersherwood.com/events

A Kentucky Dam Village Good Time

As the sun started to sink lower in the Middle Tennessee skies, I knew that soon the cooler and yes colder weather would soon be upon us.

Reflecting about this during a fall afternoon,  I knew I needed a weekend getaway of fun and sun soon, or I would have to wait until the following spring or summer.

Calling a good friend of mine, he too was up to the task.

We talked, schemed and settled on our plan; a golf weekend at Kentucky Dam Village. A little more discussing and we had our golf course of choice decided on, and a tee time.

Arriving at Kentucky Village Golf Course that Saturday we were greeted by their friendly staff; a couple of older gentlemen with firm handshakes, genuine smiles, and local knowledge on how the course would play that day. In the back of my mind, I knew it was going to be a great day whether I played well on the course or not, and also this felt like home, I’d be back.

Looking down the fairway from one of the tee boxes you can see that this particular hole is a generous driving hole with a somewhat wide open fairway. This is true for many of the holes on this course.

A challenging Par 5 awaits you on the 5th hole. After a a fairway with plenty of room to hit to, be precise with your second and third shots into the green here, or the bunkers will play havoc with your score.

A daunting little par 3 over a  small amount of water that could be a “spot of bother” if the wrong club is chosen and your shot comes up short.

Finishing the round on such a lovely day made me kind of sad, but filled with hope that I would see this gem again in the spring.

I also wanted to fill my stomach with some good food! And I was not to be disappointed. Off to the little local town of Aurora we went to in search of Willow Pond; for a plate of some of the best blackened catfish I have ever tasted, and bowls of never ending hush puppies, white beans and vinegar slaw. Between the friendliness of the staff at Willow Pond, and the food; that was well worth the trip itself.

Ok, great day of golf, my belly was full, it was a  fall Saturday here in the South, it was time to kick back in my room, and watch some college football before dozing off.

For an affordable, and very comfortable place to lay your head for an evening or longer; Grand Rivers Inn gets my vote.

Grand Rivers Inn

The Place to stay

Ms Veronika is a very friendly Innkeeper and she keeps the place spotless. Plus if you do want to venture out into the heart of Grand Rivers Ky, you are in the heart of downtown. Close to a theater and ice cream.

So in conclusion; if you are looking for a getaway weekend with plenty to do, Kentucky Dam Village would be a good choice. With plenty of lodging available around the lake, good food, and activities for all ages, this area provides scenery, relaxation, and some great views.

Enjoy your trip.

Ever Noticed This About Marketing Guru’s?

Have you ever noticed how the marketing guru’s always seem to mention one niche in particular in their trainings. And that niche is….

*GOLF*

Why do they do that?

It’s because golfers are high income earners and very passionate about their hobby. Golfers are hyper-responsive customers because they buy golf products over and over again.

Golf is the dream niche.

And here is a video that talks about the golf niche, how big it is and how you can cash in on it even if you know very little about golf…

http://is.gd/cRlL8

It doesn’t matter if you’re not interested in golf… you can still make a lot of money from the golf niche because at the end of the day it all comes down to marketing.

When you watch that video you’ll find out that golf is going to boom from now until at least the next 10 years and if you want to cash in on it your first step is to go here and see why:
